TEA Party movements are
rising all over the state. Thousands
of people are uniting to
send a firm message to our
elected officials that we are
done with their over spending,
under producing and abandonment
of the people.
But there is some drawback,
with these kinds of numbers
there is going to be the “tics”
of politics, the business as
usual that comes along when
dealing with people.
Things are moving so
quickly both in the
“movement” and with regards
to “new” policy that one could
spend all day everyday researching,
writing, and warning
others. But the one thing
we have to be vigilant on is
that we, the people of Arkansas,
who have decided to stand
up and make our voices heard
do not allow ourselves to fall
under the ether again.
By that I mean that we don’t
become complacent or too
trusting of those who want our
vote and ultimately our
money.
There has already been one
candidate announced out of
the TEA Party movement, I
expect (with eagerness) that
there will be many more, it
would be awfully hard to
change things with the same
ole players.
I have not met this candidate
and there for will hold my
personal assessment until I am
able to “vet” him properly. I
am not saying he is not the
right candidate but I am not,
not saying that either. Each
and every person reading this
would be served well by doing
the same. Just because someone
“rises” out of the movement
should not necessarily
give them automatic passage.
We know from experience
that “party” politics is not the
way to vote...no matter if it is
a TEA party. Loyalty to a
“party” is not a step toward
liberty but could most certainly
be a step toward tyranny.
Arkansas let’s do our homework
and let’s make those
seeking our vote do theirs.
