Will YOU Join in our Crusade?

L et Freedom Ring!
That is the sound you hear
across the state of Arkansas
now, as citizens come together
at TEA Parties, at rallies and
at training sessions everywhere.
People are learning to
Twitter, Facebook, Ning, blog
and blogtalk; gather information
on specific issues like
Cap and Trade, Public Health
Care, and EFCA. Citizens are
beginning to not allow themselves
to be spoon fed what
many elements in the media
wants us to hear, but to investigate
and to dig for the truth.
In 2008 Barack Obama was
able to orchestrate one of the
most effective and technologically
advanced campaigns in
the history of politics, and it
worked.
Two of the organizations
we have chosen to partner
with have put their money
where their mouth is, helping
to organize and hold events.
Americans for Prosperity
has sponsored 4 Health Care
rallies with unbelievable attendance.
In Jonesboro over 150
people attended, Russellville
60 plus, in Little Rock right at
500 in conjunction with the
TEA Party held on June 15th
and tonight in Bella Vista
there were at least 400 people
present. That’s right 400 people
on a HOT Monday night
in Bella Vista.
Then there is American Majority
who has sponsored Activist
and Candidate Training.
In May they did a tour that
included Springdale, Russellville,
Searcy, Little Rock, Hot
Springs and El Dorado where
at least 102 people attended,
last Saturday in Little Rock
they did a full day training for
36, and today in Fayetteville
in two sessions over 70 made
a decision to get involved!
I hope you see the pattern
here, people from 17 to 77
(and older in some cases) are
realizing that we are not going
to be able to continue life as
usual and get different result,
they understand that for
REAL Change THEY have to
be the change agent.
If you are beginning to feel
like something is different
well you are right, the people
of Arkansas are different, they
are getting informed, engaged
and acting on their own empowerment
to make a difference.
We encourage each of you
to become involved. There
are people needed on ALL
levels. Those who can do most
things from home on the computer,
or mailings, writing and
phone calling. People to attend
meetings, host events and
distribute flyers. People who
can analyze material and do
data research and various and
a sundry other things. The
point being is that there is a
place for everyone.
If you are truly concerned
and ready to move from set to
go then contact us at
www.arkansasunite.com
where we can plug you into
people in your area that are
already moving and have systems
in place.
I heard once that a single
pencil is very easy to break
but a hand full is almost impossible.
A line from one of
my favorite songs in the
broadway show Le Miserable-
“Will you join in our crusade?
Who will be strong and stand
with me?
Somewhere beyond the barricade
Is there a world you long to
see?
Do you hear the people sing
Say, do you hear the distant
drums?
It is the future that they bring
When tomorrow comes!”
God’s Speed~
